At the new sports centre S.A.R. Infanta Dña.Cristina you can find an olympic pool and a multisports hall that seats up to 4000 spectators. Other facilities are the footbal stadium, running track and blue sports hall.
The nature reserve around the La mata and Torrevieja salt lakes offer various mountainbike routes.
As regards watersports Torrevieja houses ideal facilities and natural environments to practice these sports. The royal nautico club and the international sports harbour offer more then 1500 excellent places for your sail or motor yachts. On top of that they also organize rowing, sailing and deep sea diving courses.
