In summer the Costa Blanca and Benidorm gets visited by millions of European tourists who are attracted by its perfect mix of good weather, great beaches and top entertainment.
The city of Benidorm can be divided in 4 main areas:
The Levante area is a very buzzing place with lots of energy and an upbeat holidays vibe. The beach households beds and parasols for hire, Baywatch styled lifeguards and a wealth of water sports.
Go down the many friendly streets of Levante and you will find a very high concentration of entertainment and clubbing venues holding a happy benidorm holidays atmosphere.
The avenida del mediterraneo, running parallel to the coastline behind the promenade, is a very long boulevard connection Rincon de Loix with the city centre of Benidorm and the Old town. Almost every type of shop, bar or international restaurant can be found there.
Are you looking for some wild fun? Levante holds 2 fantastic theme parks such as the Mundomar Marine Exotic Animal Park and Aqualandia water amusement park.
This is the newest and modern part of Benidorm which welds together with the Levante area. British and Scandinavian holiday makers prefer the Rincon de Loix for its mix of 4 star hotels and upper class apartments.
Also profiting from the fantastic sandy beaches and water sports facilities (such as boat hire, jet skis and diving courses) and just a stone throw away from the thriving nightlife scene of Levante, Rincon de Loix is the place to be.
Make sure you pay a visit to the Cable water ski station for guaranteed water fun. This fantastic invention is the place to learn waterskiing.
If you enjoy great food, then the Rincon de Loix is worth your visit. Every possible kind of restaurant can be found here. From ultra chique restaurants to fast food restaurants and great fish ‘n’ chips palaces, dining in the Rincon de Loix does not need to be expensive. Not only can you find great food here, it’s also a shopper’s heaven. Numerous small boutiques and small souvenirs shops have flooded the streets.
Located south of the old town centre, Poniente is a very attractive area with its cliffs, palm trees and picturesque locations such as Malpas Beach, Benidorm’s Marina & port and the lovely little Parc de Elche. The Playa de Poniente is also referred to Sunset Beach.
A bit more to the west the coastline curls to the La Cala area. A more tranquil zone in Benidorm that is a bit away of all the attractions. Dominating the poniente skyline is the well famous Hotel Bali with its 52 floors and 186 meter height.
